JobSeekers- What NOT to have on Resumes

 1. Use of 1st person - i.e. "I am a hardworker"

2. Inconsistent formatting - Formatting can be frustrating but there are so many great templates out there! (& professionals ready to help ;-)

3. Grammatical Errors - Grammarly is a great resource!

4. Overly Personal Statements - We don't need to know about your personal life on your resume. In fact, in the interview process there are many things employers are not allowed to ask. Know your rights!

5. Too Abbreviated OR Over Detailed - Remember resumes are a conversation starter, there needs to be enough to make them curious while not addressing every detail of your professional development.
